This album is a collection of live recordings I did during the colder times of 2023 - it tells seven stories inspired by cold hikes cold, lots of rainfall, ice and snow. I set up and recorded these tracks whenever I returned back home from the forest to the warmth of my studio. They are mostly improvised on the spot capturing whatever mood I was in.

All tracks were performed live to cassette tape on my old Tascam Portastudio 424 mk 1. The Tascam really left its fingerprints on the recordings in the forms of warble, lots of distortion, weird spikes and lots of beautiful, soft, soothing noise.
The post-processing included EQing + noise reduction in Ableton and hardware compression.
